Welcome to the 2026 Vancouver Football Club July Combine!

Canadian football is on the rise and the CPL is at the forefront. We believe in providing opportunities to young players to live out their dreams and find pathways to bigger opportunities locally, nationally, and globally. We look to a model of training young players that is progressive, match related and focuses on the love of having the ball at your feet. The aim is to instill a sense of confidence in young players by fostering their love for the game and the joy of playing football.

This year's Vancouver FC July Combine aims at providing current BCSPL players, or youth players involved in equivalent competitive environments, an opportunity to showcase their football skills and knowledge through technical drills, small-sided games, baseline testing and full matches. Over the course of the training sessions run by dedicated and experienced coaches and trainers, players will be given the platform to showcase their;

• Professionalism

Along with the opportunity to join the Vancouver FC First Team, players born between 2011 - 2008 will have an opportunity to join the Vancouver FC Pathway. The Vancouver FC U-19 Academy provides young players with an opportunity to train in high-performance and professional environments on a full-time and part-time basis with the purpose of providing a direct pathway to the Vancouver FC First Team.

The 2026 July Combine is a direct opportunity for youth players to join the Vancouver FC U-19 Academy and provides the platform to join the Vancouver FC Pathway.

DATE, TIMES AND COST

• Date: Tuesday, July 14th to Thursday, July 16th
• Time: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
• Ages: Male Born in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011

• Cost: $400 CAD + Taxes
• Boys 15 and older

COST

The cost to participate in the 2026 July Combine is $400 CAD+taxes. The Fee is non-refundable except in cases where the player is waitlisted or deemed unsuitable for the required level of play before the trials start. This fee covers venue rental, equipment, club and coach staffing, registration and administrative costs, medical and facility staff, insurance, and other essentials.

Registration and full payment are mandatory for acceptance.

• Participants are responsible for covering all associated costs, including travel, accommodation, visa requirements, and meals.

Waivers are available for those experiencing financial hardship or in need of assistance. Please submit waiver requests to youth@vancouverfc.com no later than 14 days prior to the event start date.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Vancouver FC does not cover any costs incurred by participants, including travel, accommodation, visitor visas,registration fees, or meals.

ACCEPTED LEVEL OF PLAY

Participants at the July Combine are expected to demonstrate a level of fitness and ability suitable for potential play at the professional and academy level.

Considerations for previous playing experience include:

• Current or recent semi-professional, professional or academy
• Top-level local amateur
• Provincial or National Youth National Programs
• Top performers at BCSPL, Youth Club and Academy levels

During the event, if club staff determine that a participant poses a threat to themselves or others due to a lack of physical fitness or ability, further discussion may be warranted regarding their participation.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

• Players must meet the following criteria:
• Male
• Born in 2008/2009/2010/2011

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEES?

The registration fees include:

• Guaranteed participation in training sessions or events.
• Opportunity for additional selections within the First Team and Academy Environment
• Welcome Package featuring a VFC Trial Training top
• Event Photography
• Images accessible via email to download 7-10 days after event completion.

CAN NON-CANADIAN CITIZENS PARTICIPATE?

Non-Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents are welcome to participate in Vancouver FC July
Combine. However, international participants must adhere to Canadian immigration laws, including
obtaining a non-immigrant visa if required.

While VFC does not coordinate visitor visas, please reach out to youth@vancouverfc.com if your travel time will impact your attendance. If you need more information, please refer to the Government of Canada website necessary information.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF HAVE BEEN OFFERED ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES?

Players attending our events may receive one or more of the following outcomes:

1. Academy Full-Time or Part-Time Contract Offer
2. Academy Training Invite
3. Additional TrainingGroup/Match Opportunities throughout the Academy Season
4. No Offer

Regardless of the outcome, players will be entered into our potential player database for future tracking and program opportunities.

WHAT DO I NEED TO CHECK IN?

Please bring:

• A photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.)
• Confirmation of registration (screencap of confirmation).

WHAT ABOUT WEATHER?

Events will proceed rain or shine. Please note that in extreme situations, unforeseen circumstances may arise which cause the cancellation of the event- natural disasters, etc. We apologize for any
inconvenience that may be caused by a situation like this.

That said, VFC assumes no liability for resulting damages incurred by participants and attendees as a result of cancellations under circumstances of this nature.

WILL THERE BE TRAINERS AND MEDICAL PERSONNEL ONSITE?

Yes,Vancouver FC's training staff and medical personnel will be available onsite.

DO I NEED AN AGENT TO REGISTER?

While the club may approach players or agents during the events for additional training or first-team
opportunities, direct feedback from the club may not be provided to all participants
No, an agent is not required for registration.

WHAT ABOUT WAITLISTS?

Due to limited field space,we do have to limit the number of participants for the events. If you are
waitlisted, please reach out to youth@vancouverfc.com.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

VFC GENERAL PARTICIPATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

$75 Cancellation Fee: will be applied to all registration withdrawals in accordance with our cancellation policy. Please be aware that no refunds will be issued 14 days prior to the event.

There will be no refunds after the program has started. Programs are subject to change or cancellation without notice at any time for any reason, including the number of participants registered is insufficient to host the Program.
